Simple Syrup

Skip the store-bought simple syrup because it's so easy to make from scratch at home!
Cook Time 5 minutes
Servings 24 tablespoons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stirring occasionally, heat until sugar is dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

Notes

  • Yields approximately 1.5 cups.
  • When stored properly in a well-sealed jar or airtight container, this will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
